Metropolitan Melbourne is in Third Step restrictions. From 11:59pm on the 8th of November 2020, a number of restrictions are easing. The changes to restrictions include:

  • No restrictions on reasons to leave home or distance, but work from home if you can.
  • Intrastate travel: Allowed.
  • Private gatherings:
    • Each day, a household can receive up to two different
adult visitors per day, either together or separately.
    • Dependents of the visitors are excluded from visitor
caps if they cannot be left unattended or cared for in
      another setting.
    • Any intimate partners of those who ordinarily reside at
the household being visited are excluded from daily visitor
      caps.

For detailed information on the Third Step changes, please refer to the Statement from the Premier, Daniel Andrews.

When you leave home, you must wear a face mask, unless you have a lawful reason for not doing so.

We all need to continue to play our part to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
