As of 11.59pm on Sunday the 8th of November, after several continuous days of zero new COID-19 cases being recorded, the Victorian Government will be easing lockdown restrictions for Metro Melbourne and Regional Victoria.
Each step of the Premier’s lockdown roadmap sees COVID-19 restrictions easing in certain ways until Victoria is open again as part of ‘COVID normal’.
What does this mean for Out Doors?

Metropolitan Melbourne is in Third Step restrictions. From 11:59pm on the 8th of November 2020, a number of restrictions are easing. The changes to restrictions include:
- No restrictions on reasons to leave home or distance, but work from home if you can.
- Intrastate travel: Allowed.
- Private gatherings:
- Each day, a household can receive up to two different
adult visitors per day, either together or separately. - Dependents of the visitors are excluded from visitor
caps if they cannot be left unattended or cared for in
another setting. - Any intimate partners of those who ordinarily reside at
the household being visited are excluded from daily visitor
caps.

When you leave home, you must wear a face mask, unless you have a lawful reason for not doing so.
