COVID-19 Update: Snap Lockdown restrictions easing

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has announced that the snap 5-day lockdown across Victoria will end at 11.59 pm tonight, 17 February 2021. 

For further information please visit the Victorian Government’s coronavirus (COVID-19) website, which will be updated as additional information becomes available.

What does this mean for Out Doors?

Out Doors’ future scheduled programs will be run according to the ongoing Victorian Government COVID policies, including social distancing and wearing masks indoors and outdoors, with programs resuming Monday the 22nd of February, 2021.

What are the restrictions?

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has announced that the snap 5-day lockdown across Victoria will end at 11.59 pm tonight, 17 February 2021. 

However, a number of restrictions will continue, as follows: 

  • Face masks must be carried at all times and will be required indoors and outdoors where individuals cannot physically distance; 
  • Up to 5 visitors to your home; 
  • Up to 20 people can gather outdoors from any number of households; 
  • 50% of the workforce can return to the workplace (public and private sectors); 
  • Hospitals and care homes – one household may visit a patient once per day; 
  • Retail and hospitality will reopen with the same density limits as before; 
  • Religious gatherings allowed with density quotient limits; 
  • Funerals and weddings – no limits on numbers, but noting venue density limits; 
  • Sport and recreation – allowed, subject to density quotient limits; 
  • Real Estate – inspections and auctions to resume subject to density quotient limits; 
  • Entertainment and public events can resume subject to density quotient limits.
