What a fantastic few days on the Mornington Peninsular! We accomplished so much in our time based at Eldon Park Retreat in Tyabb. We had a great team of 13 and got to experience some terrific adventures together. A few of the highlights for the team were Cape Shank and its expansive views, Arthurs Seat, and the beautiful Seawind's Gardens where some participants spotted Kangaroos. The three days went incredibly fast as we enjoyed local beach walks, forests, and a delicious pizza night in Balnarring. #balnarring#morningtonpeninsula#outdoors#Getoutdoors#nature#mentalhealthmatters... The Melbourne weather put on a good show for Out Doors Inc. as a group of 15 embarked on a day trip to Organ Pipes National Park. Organ Pipes is a bit of a hidden gem - it is located just a 25-minute drive from the ODI office on the outskirts of the city, and the river gorge is a wonderful pocket of bushland and geographical wonders. Unknown to many, there used to be many volcanoes around Central Victoria, many along the Calder Highway as we know it. The area around Organ Pipes National Park used to have one of these volcanoes, resulting in interesting formations such as basalt columns and tessellated pavements. The group had a great time exploring and learning about the history and geography of the place. This trip also welcomed a few participants that are new to Out Doors Inc, and everyone, old and new, had a lovely time getting to know each other and chatting about their past and future ODI trips. We had a delicious lunch spread in the park. After being supplied a boost of energy in the form of chocolates, the group bravely tackled the steep uphill climb back to the car park. It was a short and sweet trip, but the beautiful creek line and birdsong made this a worthwhile day. #organpipes#nationalparks#outdoors#Getoutdoors#nature#mentalhealthmatters... See MoreSee Less
