The Council has developed a 3 year Strategic Plan 2009 - 2012. This plan has been developed for the purposes of articulating the Vision and Mission of the organisation and, importantly, it outlines the specific objectives and strategies that will be pursued over the next three years to achieve our Mission in accordance with our philosophy. As a guide and planning tool for the next three years, this plan states our priorities, goals and commitment:
· Service planning and delivery: to expand current services and develop new services; and to design and implement program evaluation and quality assurance systems;
· Education and research: to undertake research programs;
· Organisational capability (capacity): to ensure organisational viability, growth and sustainability; and
· Governance: to increase effectiveness of Council; and to develop a risk management framework.
